HOW MUCH MONEY DOES THE MILLICENT G. GRAVES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP DISTRIBUTE EVERY YEAR?
The scholarship will distribute $2,000 a year. This consists of one $1,000 scholarship awarded to a female attending a historically black college or university and two $500 book awards.
DOES THE MILLICENT G. GRAVES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP DISTRIBUTE RECURRING GRANTS, OR SHOULD APPLICANTS REAPPLY EACH YEAR?
Currently, the scholarships are non-reoccurring and applicants should reapply annually.
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND HIGH SCHOOL IN WILSON, NCÂ TO APPLY FOR THE MILLICENT G. GRAVES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS?
Yes, starting in 2025, all applicants for the Millicent G. Graves Memorial Scholarships must be nominated from one of the following Wilson County high schools: Ralph L. Fike High School, Hunt High School, Beddingfield High School, Sallie B. Howard School, and Wilson Preparatory Academy
